and addition to its Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital at Caswell and Randolph roads. The OBSERVANCES
project will be in two phases. The first phase, to be completed by November 2017,
includes a three-story 89,000-square-foot tower with 32 inpatient beds, rehabilitation JANUARY 2016
facilities and seven operating rooms. The second phase, to be completed by November
2018, will include renovating 85,000 square-feet of existing space to create an outpatient
surgery center and support departments such as surgery prep and recovery, sterile
processing and family waiting rooms.
