We are deeply grateful to Mecklenburg Medical Alliance and
Endowment for helping us make the Safe Alliance’s Domestic
Violence Shelter a place where hope and healing begin. Medical
providers who understand the complex issues that arise when
domestic violence, poverty and homelessness intersect pro-
vided acute care, education and referrals to 477 survivors and
their dependent children in a safe and supportive environment.
