The MecklenburgCounty Medical
Society is here to serve its members as well as the general
public. Membership in the MCMS has many benefits for Physicians
(including residents) and Physician Assistants. In addition
to the many benefits listed below, membership will allow

- Mediation Committee - mediates charges made against
individual members by patients

for Patients (704-376-0847)
The Medical Society maintains a physician location
service that is provided free to its members and the
public and is listed in the yellow pages. Interested
parties may call weekdays between 9:00
a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to
obtain the name and office telephone number of physicians
whose specialties meet their needs and identify practitioners
who indicate that they are taking new patients. Physicians'
credentials as listed by the practitioner are also provided
on request. The MCMS provides this information as a convenience
only and does not endorse any physician or group practice.
